The big Spiritual ask from the recent Solar Eclipse is to live and lead with Heart. The past few days, where we have seen such overwhelming suffering in Bangladesh, Niger, Nepal and Texas challenges us to hold sadness for others while maintaining heart.
Moon continues her travels through Sagittarius, and will stop by today for a visit with, both Saturn and Jupiter. Think of your most confident, gregarious friend (Jupiter) and your most serious, somber conservative pal(Saturn) and you will glean a glimpse of the energy. Ideally, this pattern offers cautious optimism, sensible enthusiasm and a way forward.
Our Winged Messenger, Mercury will fly back into Leo tomorrow and will remain in this proud and loud fire Sign until Sept.9th. Any details, or tidying of details is best done today! When Mercury(mind) moves back to Leo, minds will move to grand plans.
Mars(action, anger, passion, sex) is forming a tense connection to Chiron ( abiding wound/healer/teacher)over the next few days. Wounded sexual/body image themes will come up to the surface. Our passions may feel thwarted and that any move forward may feel futile. Hold heart! This pattern, although painful is shining a light on hidden wounds. We cannot heal what we hide!

The Archer's Moon has some big, splashy plans when she moves into vast, fiery Sagittarius today@4:47pm( Aug31@5:18am) but will run into practical Virgo, who is also a well-known efficiency expert. This Waxing Quarter Moon will trigger shadow Virgo and shadow Sagittarius.
Under the increasing light of this Moon we seek higher truths, vaster visions but we run into a crisis of faith. The Virgo Sun whispers doubt and perhaps criticisms, unknowingly deflating the dream The wisdom?
Keep the big, splashy plans and heaven-high hopes, this is simply a time to fine-tune and to find smarter ways of connecting inspired dreams to earth.
Since this is the Waxing Quarter Moon, we can expect more Global crisis. Travel may be disrupted.

Tuning into the Moon Scorpio clashing with Mars Leo

If you woke this morning with the dregs of a bad dream or felt a sense of angry urgency to remove something or someone from you life, you were tuning into the Moon Scorpio clashing with Mars Leo.
Before the Moon completes her journey through Scorpio, she will encounter radical Uranus ( inconjunct) and healing Chiron (trine). In her dance with Uranus, disruptions can either leave us surprised or cranky. Plans for any domestic projects may not go as planned. The bigger view is that something in your inner world is trying to surface. If you step back, without judgement, allow the feelings to be, you may offer up/surrender these feelings to the healing waters of Chiron, who continues his journey through Pisces.

The Lord of Karma, Saturn walks slowly out of his retrograde period, which began April 6th and turn direct today. This is very good news!
Business projects that may have been stalled move forward. Although, Mercury remains in his wonky retrograde cycle, this is an auspicious time to fire up new projects.
You may find your stamina increases, preservation and determination to walk steadfastly towards desired goals with cautious expansion are part of this pattern.
The Lord of Karma makes a gentle connection( Trine) to the North Node, your point of destiny. Call on your Spirit Guides to assist you. This is a Spiritual connection and brings into clearer focus what you are to do next to heal and grow!
The Saturn/Mars(action) pattern asks you to walk your talk. Now is the time to put your plans to work!

Radical Uranus in fiery Aries startles Venus who is in tender, sensitive Cancer today, waking us up to some emotional pattern or way of relating that does not serve us and keeps clouds of disillusionment shadowing heart.
We or our sweet other may escalate some tension in an unconscious attempt to discharge this high energy.
Venus also makes a gentle connection to Chiron, our cosmic Shaman,revealing a healing path forward.
Hearts are soft, fragile but also restless/anxious today, and with Moon Libra we can project our unresolved heart-hurts onto others.
The confusion and snafus linked to Mercury retrograde are high today as Mercury rubs against Jupiter, amplifying the influence.
Perhaps, best to accept Moon Libra"s (until Aug.26@5;52am) invitation to dance, paint and create!

The Sun traveling through Virgo

Yesterday, the Sun and the Moon had an intimate and powerful encounter, moving us towards a more heart-centered consciousness.Today, they remain close together.
Our Lunar Goddess, now in Virgo is escorting her partner, the Sun, who will begin his annual travels through Virgo, today@7:20pm( until Sept.22).
Those who are born in this Sign have been going through some interesting times the past few years. Although, inspired with Neptune's dreams, they have also been confused as to how to bring visions to earth. Saturn( who is an expert in obstacles, delays and restrictions) has been testing Virgo resolve and commitment to vision-dreams.Pluto, the transformer has been commanding Virgo to deepen their determination and to build more resilience.
All of us have a Virgo influence marked somewhere in our Charts. During this Virgo season, we feel compelled to 'clean up our act.' Ideally, we do this from a place of inspiration not shame at something we have been doing 'wrong.'
Healthier lifestyles, efficient work and ridding ourselves of the superfluous are themes during this Virgo time.

Shadows and Passages... The time before this Solar Eclipse.

The energies are wild these days and for some, shadows emerge and may feel overwhelming. Try not to become anxious about your anxiety..or sad about your sadness! The time before this Solar Eclipse is chaotic but also offers opportunity to cast aside some of the neurosis/obstructions that block your heart-light.
Jupiter and Pluto have been in a stand-off the past few weeks, activating an ambition that may have no place to go or meet with resistance. You can relax. You have named a passion but it is simply not the time for this passion to find flight.
Venus, our Goddess of Love has been making some stressful connections this week and encounters Saturn today, making us feel less than loving and less loved. This is a story that is rooted in the past..and it will pass!
Luna is moving through super-sensitive Cancer, drawing us back to an imagined past. This is a beautiful Moon to paint, connect with family and to learn to gentle yourself.Psychic energy and dreams are especially powerful..!
Later this afternoon our tender Moon encounters dark Pluto, Arguments, disagreements can seem like a 17th century dual; a do or die fight! Let it go..or do not go there at all!

Moon Gemini & Moon in Cancer

Our Moon Gemini makes two very different statements before sliding into extra emotional, sensitive, psychic waters of Cancer today@1:17pm.
For the next few hours the Gemini Moon will confront Chiron, who's task, in part is to reveal our abiding wounds. Easily wounded, jealous and insecure, we can doubt our ideas and the value of our learned wisdom.
At the same time (thanks for the duality, Gemini..lol) Moon dances happily and excitedly with Uranus, stirring us to take risks.This pattern creates a buzz of ideas and insights.
Check in with any wounded insecure doubting energy and allow space for any new surge of ideas and insight!

There is a thin line between so-called civilization and anarchy. The descent is a fast one and can happen with one word or action. D.T. is playing fast and loose in an already divisive nation..and he does not care.
Saturn, the Planet that reigns over all Karmic matters and is the great reality checker is positioned in the U.S. national Birth Chart(see previous post) is positioned in the first House-the House of self/self-identity. When Saturn moves through that area of your Chart, you spend a few years gaining clarity as to who you are and what direction you need to go to self-actualize. It is an important cycle and one that U.S. will be experiencing for the next few years. Who are they as a Nation? Really..? What or how do they want to be identified? There is an unflinching quality to this energy. It is truly a wake-up moment for the U.S.
Also, Pluto is making its return to the U.S. Chart. Last time was when the country rose from the ashes of the American Revolution. It will uproot, in Pluto's nasty way, what values form the foundation of the country.

The Great American Eclipse

This Eclipse has been coined, 'The Great American Eclipse,' due to the large areas of the U.S(N.W.-S.E.) which the Eclipse will fall. Eclipses have been expertly studied by Astrologers for ions and it has been noted that countries, where the Eclipse is visible are most affected. Today's raging, rambling diatribe by D.T. serves as one example of how Eclipses behave. Eclipses expose and looking at the Charts shown, the U.S. National 9th House, which rules over aspirations, international communities, bigotry and human rights is clearly animated.
Clearly, this is a divisive and painful time in the U.S. D.T.'s hate-filled, ignorant 'speech' serves to deepen the chasms, emboldening miserable, small-hearted bigots. He enjoys the fight and is an unapologetic narcissist with no moral compass, massive insecurities and shockingly low intelligence. I have (cringing) looked at his Charts and make no mistake, he is a danger to the US. and the world.
This Leo Eclipse eclipses ego. And, if there is good news to all this hateful hate, Eclipses do move us forward. They provide, often shockingly, transformation and release.
A grim and sad day for the U.S. and the Charts shown illustrate, both division and crisis..but remember the Chinese pictograph for 'crisis' means, 'dangerous opportunity.'
Let's be vigilant and speak up..this Leo Eclipse is about brave-hearts.
