Did you know that the word, 'Revolution' was first coined by Astrologers of old? They used the word to explain the Earth's movement around the Sun. Of course, way back when, Astrologers were sometimes called 'Interpreters of the Heavens.' You can imagine how far I would get, going through Customs, if asked what my occupation is and I answered that I am an "Interpreter of the Heavens!" It is a fun thought but, so far I have resisted giving that answer and calmly look them in the eye and tell them I am an Astrologer. But I digress. Here is my New Moon Libra story.
Each New Moon marks a new cycle. The New Moon begins her own revolution through 6 of the 12 Signs to culminate in a Full Moon. Each Sign that the Moon travels through has her own signature or theme. New Moons set the tone of what we can expect, both personally and globally. Any new endeavor or project begun at or shortly after a New Moon benefits from the increasing light of our eternal Lunar Goddess.
Those who are new to the rich tradition of Astrology, expect that when Planets are moving through the sign of Libra, we can bask in the pleasures of romance, increased creativity, social opportunities, co-operation and well, niceness. However, being nice is sometimes not so nice and often requires denial. This New Moon Libra will not be playing by the usual Libra tenets.
The Moon or any of the other Planets do not operate alone. They make connections (or aspects) to each other, creating patterns of energy that increase or decrease in potency.
