They quivered in their caves. The Sun had been swallowed. Clearly, the end was near. They began to notice that floods, earthquakes and other disasters followed this phenomena. And they began to notice that this happened a few times a year. The Sun always returned. But what if during one of these celestial events it did not? Yes, Eclipses frightened the ancients. Were they right? Eclipses are encoded with a wild, intense energy. Consider that for a brief time the over three billion megawatts of energy the Sun emits every second is….stopped. They represent both, beginnings and endings. And the change is swift.
This Eclipse is unique. It occurs when the Moon is perigee (commonly called,’SuperMoon’... a term I dislike). When the Moon is perigee, she is closer to Earth than usual. This increases seismic activity and behaves much like a super-charged Full Moon. Also, the Eclipse happens on the slim edge of the Vernal Equinox-Spring! We have to look far into the future for these two important celestial events to occur on the same day. How Far? Let’s peer ahead (squint) to 2053.
Another rare aspect to this Eclipse is that it occurs at 29 degrees Pisces. This is considered by every Astrology on the Planet as a ‘fate’ or critical degree. Considering that Eclipses, in general are fairly fated, this adds to the intensity but also amps up the Karmic themes and events.
So who is most impacted by this Eclipse? Anyone who is born between March18-March21 is in the direct path of this Eclipse. Also, those who are born between September18-September 23 and December18-December23 will be impacted. Please bear in mind that your sacred map-your Birth Chart-may reveal that your Moon or your Mars etc. is in a Sign or degrees that is sensitive to this Eclipse. Also, you may have your House of money (second House) cusp at 29 degrees Pisces. This last example would indicate that big money changes would become very apparent and very soon!
