I love the word,'hubris.' Its Greek origin includes the idea of excessive pride being the downfall of the tragic hero/heroine, incurring the wrath of the Gods and Goddesses by acting above them. Vesta's entry into the Sign of Leo(fr. May2-July17th) speaks to this. We will hear stories of those who through their own arrogance and pride lose their place among the stars.
Vesta is the Goddess of the hearth but she represents both the 'sacred whore' and the chaste virgin. Sexual repression and sexual problems come under her watch. Vesta also rules over small spaces, shrines, altars and much more. If you have a shrine/altar, add bright colors and fire symbols. Vesta is also about intense focus and integration.
